i've posted about the constitution a few times in the past, several years.

the inclusion of "- any Thing in the Constitution-" and "- to the Contrary notwithstanding-" in that phrase is one of my favorite things about the document.  that phrase is a recursive, legal clause.  i don't read many other legal documents.  i would still guess that even if i did i wouldn't find something that clever frequently.

from other legal agreements i've occasionally found examples of clauses that seem very useful, but aren't often meaningfully applicable.

"- not be questioned in any other Place." sounds really protective.  it kind of isn't.  section 6 of article one really serves to provide for members of each house of congress to be free to hold session in furtherance of meeting their constitutionally required responsibilities and to be without a concern of conflict from holding an additional government office.  any "- Speech or Debate in either House,-" is part of the public record and admissible in court.  questions about speeches or debate wouldn't be much more useful as evidence should there be a concern.

for convenience the image below links to the constitution and its ratified amendments.
