[an 'old' recipe that uses powdered cloves and powdered ginger.]

now that we're waiting for may, i'm thinking about coffee.  been some time.  there are a couple of places i have in mind.  there's my usual, sitting at a convenient starbucks, after having bought a large coffee and tipped, using plugged in wifi for two hours.  there's also taking a drive to catch a paper cup containing fresh roasted, politely ground, double espresso with actual crema.  be nice when everyone worries a touch less (of their own accord).

"Congress, however, extended one set of pandemic flexibilities as part of the government funding package.

More Medicare enrollees are able to get care via telehealth during the public health emergency. The service is no longer limited just to those living in rural areas. They can conduct the telehealth visit at home, rather than having to travel to a health care facility. Plus, beneficiaries can use smartphones and receive a wider array of services via telehealth.

These will now continue through 2024."

from the following linked text:

after watching the abc world news, upon reflection it sounds like 4 out of 5 u.s.of a. intelligence agencies agree that the fifth agency is full of crackpots and loons.

"But with no "smoking gun" and limited access to raw data, discussion of the science has played out in a haze of circumstantial evidence."

didn't do shit about s.a.r.s. from the news breaking about it in the 2000s until three years ago.  not china, not the world health organization, not america... nobody else either... did a fucking thing about it.  the lab the virus developed in was the fucking planet.  just like in the 2000s china publicly noticed it (now covid-19) first.  every person on the planet was a potential participant in the development of s.a.r.s. into covid-19.  absent anyone being willing to provide proof to the contrary i'm not willing to listen to conjecture.

update 2/28/23: appears to have been a 'low confidence' report from the department of energy (?)

from the associated press: "In 2021, officials released an intelligence report summary that said four members of the U.S. intelligence community believed with low confidence that the virus was first transmitted from an animal to a human, and a fifth believed with moderate confidence that the first human infection was linked to a lab."

correct the first time?  not every time, but happens occasionally.

"adverb Recently; newly."

left wondering if i took the name through disqus and that was why a page didn't exist and was taken.  could be that when i started trying out wordpress there was already another person beginning to use "nonfer" for their page's address.  haven't cared much about that or about how much i didn't like wordpress for quite some time.  lots of other people seem to like it.
